Noor Rice Cash & Carry ("Noor Rice", "we", "us", "our") operates the website www.noorrice.pk and sells groceries and household products for delivery and pickup in Gojra, Punjab, Pakistan. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account and order details: your name, mobile number, email address, delivery or pickup address, city, order notes, and the items you order.
Login details: if you create an account, your password (stored in encrypted form). If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name and email address from that service.
Payment information: we record the payment method you choose (for example cash on delivery) and the order total. If you pay online, payment details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored on our servers.
Technical information: your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and cookies, collected automatically when you use the website.
Communications: messages you send us through the contact form, email, WhatsApp, or live chat.

2. How we use your information

To process, deliver, and support your orders, including contacting you about your delivery.
To send order notifications and updates by email, SMS, and WhatsApp, such as order confirmations and status changes.
To create and manage your account and let you track your orders.
To respond to your questions and complaints.
To improve our website, products, and services, and to keep the website secure and prevent fraud.
To send offers or promotions, only where you have agreed to receive them. You can opt out at any time.

3. WhatsApp messages

When you place an order, we may send you a WhatsApp message with your order confirmation using the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. Your mobile number and the message content are processed by WhatsApp/Meta to deliver the message, subject to WhatsApp's Privacy Policy. Our store team also receives a WhatsApp notification with the order details so that we can prepare your order. If you do not want WhatsApp messages from us, reply "STOP" or contact us using the details below.

4. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

our delivery staff and riders, so they can deliver your order;
service providers that help us run the website and communicate with you, including web hosting (Hostinger), email delivery, SMS, Meta/WhatsApp, Google, and online payment providers;
authorities or other parties where required by law, or to protect our rights, customers, or property.

These providers may only use your information to provide their services to us.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and understand how the website is used. We may also use analytics or advertising tools (such as Meta Pixel or Google services) to measure and improve our marketing. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the website may stop working properly.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services, handle returns and disputes, and meet legal and accounting requirements. After that, we delete it or anonymize it.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including encrypted passwords and secure (HTTPS) connections. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights and choices

9. Data deletion instructions

To have your account and personal data deleted, whatsApp us 03336852369 from your registered mobile number with the subject "Delete my data". You can also delete your account from your profile page when signed in. We will delete your data within 30 days, except for records we must keep by law (such as order and tax records). If you signed in with Facebook, you can also remove Noor Rice from your Facebook account under Settings → Apps and Websites.

10. Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
